The first glimmer of light at daybreak. The rustle of leaves. Small souls flit and jostle for position. A shake of feathers, an in-breath and the first note of morning is sung. A circle takes shape in the gloom, here, here, here and there, like an echo. Spilling out with trill sounds, spiralling through the wood. A wonderful melody roll call welcoming the new day, signalling with beautiful delight!
